 Joe was great to work with and built some custom cabinets, a wine fridge cabinet, and an entry coat and shoe rack for our house. He did very impressive work, had great attention to detail, and exceeded our high expectations on design and finish. We will be sure to use him again. -MD

 "Working with Joe was a great experience for us.  Joe is a very friendly person, prompt to respond and focused on delivering a quality product.  Our project demanded a true woodworker.  A simple installation of prefab cabinetry wasn't going to get the job done.    It has been a year since our job was completed.  I think we're actually more pleased with the end product now than when it was initially completed (and, we were pleased when the job was completed).  Joe's cabinets have held up to our 10 month old swinging on the cabinet doors, running walkers into the cabinetry and all sort of other infant mayhem with hardly a

  "All we can do is read the reviews of the particular specialist we are looking for, contact them, discuss our needs...pick one and then cross our fingers and hope we made the right choice.  The proof, is of course, in the finished product.  I picked Joe Culpepper and hoped for the best.  Well, Joe just drove away from our condo and my wife and I could not be more pleased with what he left us with...we are both 'blown-away' with his superb craftsmanship.  We contacted Joe to build us a Media Center w/ bookshelves in our master bedroom.  It was tricky in that it was a combination of curved shelves coming around a corner to connect with some straight lined shelves.  Joe made it look 'seamless' as though it was one complete unit and not individual units that had been expertly pieced together and made to look as one.  His design was well thought out and he gave us a unit that gives us a lot of flexibility in arranging the appearance of the shelves and their contents.  If you are looking for someone who knows how to 'work with wood'...your search is over.  You will not need to cross your fingers as Joe is a 30 yr. veteran and knows his stuff.  In the future when I need custom work done, Joe will be the man I call and I encourage anyone reading this review to do the same for your woodworking needs.  'BIG' thumbs up for the skills of Joe Culpepper."  -BJ

"I needed new cabinets and a pantry added to an empty space in my kitchen. I contacted several companies through Angie's List. Mr. Culpepper was prompt to respond. He worked with my schedule to come in the evening and measure to provide a quote.  He was able to provide the quote the same evening, and followed up within the next few days.  His quote was reasonable and in line with others I received and the work photos I was shown were excellent. I would certainly contact Mr. Culpepper again for similar work in the future."-JD

Before we found Joe, we had hired "someone else to measure, order and install new kitchen cabinet fronts, drawers and slides, and it was a disaster! What he ordered didn't fit, and his work was of poor quality.  We cut our losses, fired the first guy, and found Joe Culpepper. Everything went great once Joe started the job. He completed everything in a timely manner and at a fair price. We were so happy with the quality of Joe's work that we kept finding other cabinet work for him to do.  We have used him since then, for other cabinet work, and will use him again.
